Small town place for sure. Steady line of people at the door, nice decorations inside with perfect lighting. We started with some hush puppies for hen the crab dip and garlic bread, very good. Hush puppies are served with a marmalade sauce and what tasted like a honey mustard style sauce. The corn bread catfish was very good, plump and fresh. The bento plate was good, served with gumbo, crab cake, shrimp and grits and salad. The redfish pontchartrain was good, a little on the over cooked side but sauce made up for it. Service was excellent, waiter had knowledge of the menu and a great time.

We started with a crab dip appetizer, and then shared the gumbo, because how could we not get the gumbo?? The kids each got fried catfish and popcorn shrimp and both liked their meal. Hubby got the Jambalaya Pasta, which he loved. I got the southwest seafood something? They change their menu pretty often so I'm not sure what it was called, but it was great! The desserts all looked amazing, but we all shared the Jack Daniel's chocolate mousse pie and the bread pudding with salted caramel ice cream. Holy smokes-both were great! We were pleasantly surprised by the food served at this restaurant! There's a reason this place is known as the "fancy place in Boyd". I highly recommend! Hubby said this has been his favorite spot we have tried so far

We have been here 3 times since our move to this area Now to be fair My friends rant and rave of how great authentic Cajun cooking it is Well it isn't that level of a backwoods Cajun restaurant But It is a good to great place to eat I have their redfish dish which is quite good Prime rib - which was almost cooked to perfection Deserts you can't grow wrong as they are all made from scratch The other drawback is this is such a staple of the better restaurants in this area you need to arrive early as the outside is usually a long one

We had dinner here last night. We were told it would be about 30 minutes until a table was available and we actually surprised we thought it would be longer. We ended up being seated within 15 minutes which was AMAZING! Once seated we were able to order pretty quickly as we knew the menu very well I can't believe I've never reviewed this establishment before. my friend ordered the dinner with the shrimp and crab gumbo a great choice for someone that wants to try a little bit of everything. We also had the hot crab dip which was amazing and I had the shrimp and grits which was delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert but look forward to trying one in the future. The restaurant was pleasantly busy but not overly loud which was nice. Our server spent very little time with us, but we understand he was busy. We will be back!

Randomly driving through the area at night coming back from Springtown and remembered this place so we stopped. I had the trout special and hubby had the prime rib. All delicious. We forced ourselves to eat it all in one sitting because we still have that new car smell in our new car !. Service was top notch. Wish I paid attention to the man's name. The bread pudding was great but I would just have a scoop of the homemade salted caramel ice cream next time because it was the best I have ever tried.

First time checking this place out. I am highly allergic to crab so I should have reviewed the menu before coming. A lot of the food has real crab so if you love crab... this place is for you! I ordered the halibut with brusselsprouts because it's a crab free dish. I enjoyed the meal, butter sprouts were good. The fish was a little over cooked but still good. The place gets packed so be prepared! Also BRING Your Own Wine! It has a shabby chic vibe!
